Favorite Trails

 

Bear Mountain. This trail is a must do for anyone visiting here for a relatively short (1.5 miles) but rewarding hike. Amazing views at the top. Trail is a bit overgrown and narrow in places but clearly marked. Bring bug spray.

Kenai River Trail Beautiful views of the Kenai River Canyon before it enter Siklak lake. An out and back trail. It Is rated as moderate. This is our families favorite hike to take family photos.

Fuller Lakes 6.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Cooper Landing, Alaska that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from May until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail Blueberries can be found around the lakes.

Slaugher Gultch via Juneau Trail. This is a tough hike, but the views are 100% worth it. When you reach the end you will see the entire Upper Kenai River and Lake. There is limited parking at this trailhead. If the parking lot is full please find a different place to hike to prevent overcrowding.

Russian River Falls. 5.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail. Easy trail, and great for wildlife spotting. Watch salmon jumping at the falls. Perhaps you will spot a bald eagle or a bear.
